QPR manager Ian Holloway believes his players need to take a leaf out of his book.

Holloway, a tough tackling, no nonsense midfielder during his playing days, watched his Hoops side turn in a dismal display away at Bristol City on Good Friday.

Rangers lost 2-1, with Holloway admitting his side did not even deserve the 94th minute Idrissa Sylla consolation goal.

And the boss expects more from his side in the final few weeks of the season.

He said: "Anybody who thinks they're out of the woods [in the relegation battle] is going to give up. In this division anybody can beat anybody.

"We have to take all of that on the chin, you have to come back fighting. I wanted my team to epitomise what I'm all about and unfortunately people are going home and can have a bit of a laugh, I never did that ever, I never went out with a whimper.

"I showed some fight and fire."
