HARRY Redknapp has promised winds of change at QPR will have turned into a force five hurricane by the start of next season.

The manager was scathing about the Tweet sent my Stephane M’Bia expressing the midfielder’s desire to quit Rs this week – but reckons that’s the tip of the iceberg.

Redknapp insists a dysfunctional squad will be broken up, and the new lot had better get used to a different regime.

He said: “This Tweeting things is nonsense. Why can’t they can’t spend more time on the training ground rather than Tweeting? They would be better off.

“But lots of things have to change here.

“You might have been pussyfooting around with some because you’re trying to get the best out of them. But it will be different next season with a different squad.

“There are some players think they can do what they want when they want. One or two have turned up late and they’ve been fined for that – that happens at other clubs as well, but we need something different.”

Redknapp fined Jose Bosingwa when the £65k-a-week defender refused to sit on the bench back in December, but the manager who started football life as a £10-a-week apprentice at West Ham in 1963 reckons even that has limited effect.

He said: “A fine used to count in the past. You fine players £10 grand now and it’s water off a duck’s back.”
