Sebastian Polter has demanded his QPR striker pal keeps to his side of the bargain struck hours before Northern Ireland faced tonight's Euro 2016 semi-finalists Germany in the Group C game.
The German forward bet Conor Washington he wouldn’t score via their Twitter accounts - and if he did, Polter would clean the Irish international’s boots for a week.
Washington took the challenge.
As everyone knows the game's only goal was the one scored by Mario Gomez that gave Polter's Germany a 1-0 win, and now The Rs man wants his pound of flesh - or rather a boot brush in his team-mate’s hand.
In one word, at last week’s kit launch, he was asked what he felt for his beaten pal.
“Unlucky,” he said with stone-poker face, and you can see the moment, above.
Polter has to wait awhile to see his gleaming boots a la Washington.
The international has time owing after NI’s fabulous exploits, while Polter and co continue their Netherlands training camp before a friendly against Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven on Friday.
