The first half hasn't been a classic but QPR somehow find themselves going in at the break 1-0 up after a Yeni Ngbakoto goal.

Despite the poor first half, who would you choose as the top players so far?

3 stars - Luke Freeman

The only player who looks capable of changing this match. His ability to use both feet, turn and run at the defence seems to be causing some issues for Northampton. QPR really need him to take this game by the scruff of the neck.

2 stars - Darnell Furlong

Has looked lively down the right, putting in challenges and trying to get forward at every opportunity. It was his header that was denied by David Cornell leading up to the QPR goal.

1 star - Idrissa Sylla

Not a fantastic performance by any means, but Sylla has looked ready and willing to put the graft in. He's been closing down, asking for the ball and generally making a nuisance of himself.
