QPR and Fulham face each other at Loftus Road on Saturday hoping to find chinks in the other's armour.

Fans won't need reminding of the 2013 meeting at the Cottage when £12 million Chris Samba had possibly the worst game of his life as the Whites came out 3-2 winners.

And in the Championship clash this season, it was James Perch’s turn to have a poorly-timed howler, as was run ragged as the Whites claimed a 4-0 victory - and bragging rights.

Ahead of the first derby at Loftus Road since 2012, Dan Burn and Nedum Onuoha will be leading their respective back-lines into battle.

Former Manchester City player Onuoha has been involved in every Rangers game of the season as Hoops seek to bounce back to the Premier League.

QPR have slowly recovered from a poor start to the season and have gone five matches without defeat, beating Ipswich 1-0 last weekend.

And his experience has been vital as Rangers have enjoyed a fine streak of form - suffering only one league defeat in 2016.

The Whites, however, go into the clash with a somewhat less than impressive recent record - at least on paper.

In complete contrast to their soon-to-be hosts, they have failed to win a match in 2016, with their last victory a 4-1 win over Rotherham in December.

The introduction of Slavisa Jokanovic, however, has them playing in a more confident style, one which would have seen them claim a scalp of Derby or Hull but for a couple of moments where concentration dipped.

Burn has enjoyed a revival of form in this period - looking closer to the player who played a pivotal role for Birmingham during the first half of the 2013-14 season.

And ultimately that’s what the Saturday derby will come down to; which player will be able to recapture their best form and keep focused throughout 90 minutes.
