Mauro Zarate is back with West Ham receiving treatment for an injury and is unlikely to play a part in QPR's remaining games.

The Argentine has endured a difficult time at Loftus Road and former manager Harry Redknapp was trying to exchange him for Matt Jarvis on transfer deadline day.

In total, Zarate has played four games for the Rs, including their 2-0 win at Sunderland but he will not be featuring against West Brom or Aston Villa.

Unaware: QPR manager Chris Ramsey

Manager Chris Ramsey said: “He's not fit and available. He's having treatment back at West Ham. If he's fit he'll come into consideration.”

Redknapp had looked to offload Zarate, his only January signing, but was prevented from doing so by Premier League rules.

Ramsey, though, has seen no change in the West Ham man's attitude.

He said: “I didn't see any change. I wasn't involved so I don't know.”
