CAPTAIN Clint Hill has warned QPR must be on their guard at Championship strugglers Yeovil on Saturday.

Harry Redknapp's league leaders face a Glovers side who are in the relegation zone, having lost five of their last six games following promotion last term.

But Hill said: “Teams will raise their game against us and that is going to be important. There is always that fear in the back of your head that they have got to win sometime.

“We have got to be right on our game. It is probably one of our biggest games of the season so far, in terms of going there against a so-called smaller team who will want to do us over.

“I am sure the other teams will be looking at us to see how we come through it.”

Rangers have chalked up five-successive shut-outs to see them climb to the top of the table.

But Hill insists there's no secret to plugging the hole in a defence that leaked 68 goals in all competitions last campaign.

He added: “I am not going to complain with a clean sheet, especially with the last couple of years that we have had. The Championship is very demanding and clean sheets keep you ticking over.

“It shows the effort that the boys are putting in at the moment and it is not just the back four and the goalkeeper, it is everybody.

“Once we lose that ball, we work hard to get back and stop the other team. We have had a bit of luck, with teams hitting the post, but we will take it as long as we keep putting those points on the board.”
