QPR captain Nedum Onuoha turned down transfer deadline day interest from Norwich City to sign a contract extension that keeps him at Loftus Road until 2018.
The new Rs skipper, already a three-year veteran of relegation, promotion and relegation in successive seasons insists the best is yet to come.
He told the club’s website: “The last three and a half years have most certainly been exciting to say the least,” he said.
“The way the club is looking now, aiming to stabilise for the future. It's another exciting period ahead.”

“Nedum is one of our most experienced players and him signing a new deal is fantastic news for everyone connected to the football club,” he said.
