Yossi Benayoun will play no part in tomorrow’s QPR’s clash with Blackpool.

The new midfielder lacks match fitness and stays behind at the training ground as he eases closer to first-team selection.

The former Chelsea player also missed out on a reserve match against Bournemouth on Tuesday while his work permit was sorted, and needs more time to make his debut, according to his boss.

Harry Redknapp said: “Yossi’s not going to play this week, but train all weekend instead.”

Defender Nedum Onuoha is fully fit, but Harry hinted the form of central defenders Richard Dunne and Clint Hill will keep the ex-Manchester City man on the bench.

Otherwise, only the long-term injured that is Bobby Zamora and Ali Faurlin are missing for the trip to the seaside.
