QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo has said he's had discussions with Ian Holloway about his role in the team, saying that he's pleased to be able approach each game on the front foot.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "Me and the manager have had a few discussions about where I play and how the team should approach the game, which is good. I like to express my point.

"With the introduction of Josh in there, it allows whoever else is in midfield to be more aggressive.

"I want to be on the front foot off the ball and frees me to get in their face and not allow them any time in midfield.

"When we do that and hopefully win the wall back we're in great positions to attack.

"On the other hand we've got that responsibility to help Josh out in case he gets a bit exposed or a bit tired, so the balance is really good at the moment. Obviously it's a long season so people can come in and out to do what's needed in the team."
