QPR midfielder Josh Scowen has says that he's enjoying his time at the club despite the team enduring a frustrating run of form.

The former-Barnsley man has formed an excellent unit alongside Massimo Luongo and Luke Freeman in midfield, and says that he feels they're getting stronger by the week.

Speaking to the club's official website he said: "I’m really enjoying playing here. The understanding between the three of us in the middle of the pitch is growing by the game.

“The more we play together, the better we feel we're getting.

“As long as we all stay fit and keep playing games, we're confident we can go from strength-to-strength as a trio.”

The Hoops are currently on a run of six games without a win in the league, and after drawing against Sunderland, attention now turns to a must-win game against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

Speaking ahead of the game, Scowen says there's no need to panic just yet.

He said: "I actually think we're playing quite well, but not necessarily getting the results we deserve.

“It's not as if we're not in games – we are and we have been in most of the games since the start of the season. If we keep playing the way we're playing, the wins will come – I’ve no doubt about that at all.

“But when you're 1-0 up away from home, getting the second goal of the game is so important. We've led four times away so far this season, but never got that all-important next goal of the game.

"At the moment it's just not falling for us, but we're confident the tide will turn.”
