QPR are trying to find a shape that fits their squad and Sandro believes that, once things click, Rangers will race up the table.

The Rs are currently in a relegation battle after six straight defeats and are three points above third bottom side Blackburn.

Since Ian Holloway has come in, Hoops have tried to find a formation that works for them, whether it is three at the back, Grant Hall sitting in midfield or the 4-5-1/4-2-3-1 formation on display at the Amex.

Sandro said: “We're trying to find our shape and some good players are injured as well like Seb and Tjaronn.

“I think with this manager we can play any formation as he's telling us to enjoy our football and to create something.

“In our last two home games, how come we didn't get points and not win. The last few matches have been a shame. I think we'll be fine.”

Sandro believes that QPR are creating more chances and it is only a matter of time until the goals start coming.

He added: “We are changing and creating more chances. We enjoy more time on the ball. Once we start to score goals, we'll be a much better team.

“We're not doing that and in this moment, I think we need one win to gain confidence but I don't think QPR will be fighting relegation.”
