QPR suddenly have four midfielders battling for two central spots against Wigan tomorrow.

Declaring themselves fit and raring to go at the DW Stadium are Karl Henry, Massimo Luongo - and the fit again Ariel Borysiuk and Sandro.
And that doesn't include Jordan Cousins, who would prefer to go straight down the middle, but is required to fill a wide role as Ben Gladwin recovers from injury.

Chances are, Rangers head coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will stick with the tried tested Henry-Luongo axis, especially as neither featured in the EFL Cup win over Rochdale on Tuesday.

However, Sandro has said he proved doubters wrong over his fitness, and Poland international Borysiuk told www.qpr.co.uk he too, is hoping to see action as Rangers attempt to get their Championship tilt back on track after back to back defeats.

"I need more minutes for my confidence but for my first game, it was not bad," he said.

“I couldn’t wait for this (EFL Cup) after five weeks with injury. It was a very difficult time for me but I worked hard every day.

“They were bad days for me but I could not do anything about this. I worked hard and supported the boys in every game. I had to take it step by step to be ready, and I am already looking forward to the next game now.”
