Queens Park Rangers midfielder Massimo Luongo was called up for the Australia squad on Monday night, ahead of the next international break.

The ball-winner will be hoping to start in the Socceroos' two World Cup qualifiers to face Iraq and the United Arab Emirates.

Luongo will travel to Tehran on March 23 to take on Iraq before they head home to Sydney to take on the United Arab Emirates on March 28.

Australia are currently third in Group B after five matches of Round 3 qualifying.

Luong was outstanding for Rangers at Leeds United on Saturday, earning a full rating of 10 by Who Scored, as you can see below. And his club colleague Luke Freeman also made the Team of the Week in the Championship with a score of 8.61.
