QPR fans can’t decide whether they want the club to approach Nigel Pearson or stick with Neil Warnock as manager, according to a GetWestLondon study.

Hoops supporters have been voting for who they want to replace Chris Ramsey in a poll on our website following the sacking of the 53-year-old a week ago.

As of this morning, both Pearson and Warnock were the two most favoured candidates and were deadlocked on 24.3 per cent of the votes so far.

Pearson, out of work since being sacked by Leicester despite guiding the Foxes to Premier League safety, would be an attractive candidate for R’s chiefs as no compensation would be required.

He is the clear bookies’ favourite and is priced at 1/2 by Sky Bet.

Snapshot: Our poll results on Wednesday morning

Warnock has been placed in interim charge of first-team affairs during the recruitment process and returned to the dugout for Saturday’s goalless stalemate with Preston North End.

Sky Bet have Warnock priced at 6/1 second favourite to take the job permanently, although the man himself has been somewhat coy over whether he would be prepared to relocate from Cornwall.

Burton Albion manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is third on your list of preferred candidates and, as of this morning, had raked in 12.8 per cent of the votes after a successful time with the Brewers.
