Queens Park Rangers are the latest club linked with out-of-favour Rangers midfielder Josh Windass, who is also rumoured to be a target for Hull City, Brentford, Fleetwood Town, MK Dons, Rotherham United and Peterborough United.

The 23-year-old former Huddersfield Town and Accrington Stanley player is thought to be surplus to requirements in Glasgow with new Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha wanting to put his own stamp on the side.

Windass, who was born in Hull, is the son of former Hull City player Dean Windass and was linked with a move to his hometown club in June by the Hull Daily Mail .

However, reports in the Sun the same week had Fleetwood, MK Dons and Peterborough chasing Windass Junior's signature.

According to Scotland's Daily Record , Rotherham United have this week denied interest in the midfielder however, the latest rumours have linked London clubs QPR and Brentford with the English man.
