QPR manager Ian Holloway is hopeful that Conor Washington and Josh Scowen will return to the first team as attention turns towards their home match with Burton Albion on Saturday.

Washington was replaced in the 2-2 draw with Millwall after receiving a knock to his calf, while Josh Scowen suffered a dead leg in the challenge which saw Lee Gregory shown a straight-red card.

Both players were deemed unfit to feature in Saturday's 3-2 defeat against Middlesbrough, but it's thought that Holloway is optimistic that both players will return this weekend.

The news will be a boost for the Hoops after the club confirmed that captain Nedum Onuoha would be out of action for three months after tearing his hamstring.

He joins the likes of Joel Lynch, Grant Hall, James Perch and Jordan Cousins on the sidelines.
