QPR goalkeeper Alex Smithies says he is looking forward to watching hometown club Huddersfield Town at Wembley Stadium this afternoon.
The Terriers take on Reading in the Championship Play-Off Final, and the 27-year-old says he is excited to spend time with his family watching the Yorkshire side in action.
Speaking to the Huddersfield Examiner, he said:"“A lot of my family are going and I'm going with them, I didn't want to miss out on that!
“I'm looking forward to it and I'm going down with quite a few of my family to watch the game."
Smithies, who has been linked with a move back to Huddersfield this summer said he will be sitting in the Huddersfield end after jetting back from his family holiday in Orlando, Florida for the occasion.
