Ariel Borysiuk will be a hit with QPR fans due to his whole-hearted attitude, says Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

The 24-year-old moved to Loftus Road from Polish side Legia Warsaw and is the club's first summer signing.

The 10-times capped Poland international has also plied his trade in Germany for FC Kaiserslautern and in Russia for Volga.

And Hasselbaink believes Borysiuk will compliment the rest of his squad.

The Dutchman said: “He's a midfielder that is more defensive minded who likes a tackle and likes to stop opposition's attacks.

“He's also comfortable on the ball and can continue our game. He's somebody that has played in Germany, Russia and won 10 Poland caps.

“He's got a bit of experience and he's only 24-years-old. He's an addition to our squad. He can improve and get better.

“He's the QPR kind of player and the type the supporters will like as he gives everything he's got and he goes for it and I like that.”
