Welcome to our newly-formed QPR Fans Panel!

Each week we'll be asking our outspoken R's a number of questions around the current events at Loftus Road to get a small sample of what the fans are thinking.

In today's edition we discuss Les Ferdinand's comments regarding transfer strategy and also analyse some of the weeks incoming transfer rumours.

What are your thoughts on Les Ferdinand's comments regarding the need to sell players in order to bring additions in?

Ben Platt

It's unfortunately where the club is now, we need to realise that. Years of mis-management and poor financial handling has and will come back to hunt us. I still believe there is a bit of money available, personally.

Paul Curry

A wise move in my eyes, I agree with Les for once! We aren't a club that can be free-spending anymore, with the potential for a fine from The FA/EFL, a one player in/one player out policy seems to make sense.

Jess Unwin

I'm not surprised. The parachute money has run out and, at last, it seems as if a sensible, sustainable financial approach is being adopted. It'd be great if we could sell Caulker but seems unlikely. Let's unload players who just aren't good enough, eg. Perch, Lynch.

Paul Gibbons

I guess he has to say something like that, especially as it’s probably true! Smithies aside not sure too many clubs will be banging on the door for most of the squad though.

What are your thoughts on the rumours of incoming players including Tammy Abraham, Alex Bruce, Kenny McLean?

Ben Platt

All three would really improve the team. We need solid defenders as a priority. McLean has been Aberdeen's best player and well,

we know how good Abraham is. Not sure we could pull off all three however.

Paul Curry

I'm particularly excited about Tammy Abraham, I was impressed by him when he came to Loftus Road in October with Bristol City and would definitely bring something to the squad, that said, Brighton and Newcastle are also sniffing around so I think it’s unlikely he’ll come. Alex Bruce seems to be a signing we need, a solid presence could do us good. Kenny Mclean, I don’t know much about but knowing that his current club, Aberdeen always challenge for the European spots in the Scottish Premiership, I’d say a player in and around the starting XI at a club of that calibre could be a brilliant addition.

Jess Unwin

Not impressed regarding Bruce and I can't see us signing Abraham if Brighton/Newcastle after him. A friend of mine who's an Aberdeen fan rates McLean and doesn't want to see him go.

Paul Gibbons

Abraham would be decent for us, Bruce a big centre back that we definitely need and know nothing about Mclean.
