Richard Dunne will leave it to QPR as to whether they want to keep him for next season.

The veteran defender is out of contract at the end of the season and is in the dark as to whether he'll be a part of Rangers' plans for the future.

But Dunne is primarily focused on facing Leicester in the Rs' final game of a campaign that ended in relegation from the Premier League.

He said: “I have no idea (about my future). I'm looking forward to playing that last game and see what happens after that. The club has said they want to move forward so there may be a change in direction.

“It's up to the club. If they want to try and come back up then I'd like to be a part of that. I'll just have to wait and see what their aims are for next season and whether I'm part of it.”

Despite it being a possibility he will be unemployed come July, Dunne is not nervous about what the future holds.

He added: “I'm not nervous. When you're 35-36 it's different because most of your career is behind you.

“For a young lad it can be difficult. For me it's more a case of trying to get kids settled in school and should I renew my house for rental and leave it and let some go.

“Decisions are family based so I need to know where I'm settled and where the kids are going to school.”
