QPR co-chairman Tony Fernandes has taken to social media to praise manager Ian Holloway after his 300th game as manager.

The Hoops recorded a 1-0 victory over Sheffield United at Loftus Road, and Fernandes was quick to praise the club's leader.

Speaking on Twitter he said: "Congrats to Ian Holloway for this win. Dressing room in great spirits. Flown 14 hours. well worth it. Will sleep well. Great team spirit.

"Best thing about yesterday's game was that we had no real centre-baacks. All three are right or left backs. Shows the spirit.
