QPR will check on the fitness of Mauricio Isla and Eduardo Vargas ahead of Saturday’s trip to Newcastle.

The duo are due to train this morning after returning from international duty with Chile.

South Korean defender Yun Suk-Young has been passed fit to play, but Adel Taarabt is still missing with a groin problem.

Boss Harry Redknapp said: “We are waiting for the two Chilean boys. Yun is back and played for South Korea. He’s okay.

“Adel is still not fit. He’s got a groin strain. He may come out and do something this morning with the fitness coach.”

Ale Faurlin (knee) is still a long-term absentee.
