QPR and Brentford have been fined £7,500 and £10,000 respectively for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during Rangers' 3-0 win on March 12.

The charge came following Karl Henry's heavy tackle on Ryan Woods in the 48th minute.

The Bees midfielder was unhappy with the nature of the challenge which led to the pair being booked by referee Fred Graham.

The official included the incident in his report and both clubs were charged, which they both denied, requesting the matter went to the regulatory commission.

The commission heard the case on Tuesday and found both clubs guilty before fining them and warning them of their future conduct.

An FA statement read: “Queens Park Rangers and Brentford have been fined £7,500 and £10,000 respectively after both clubs denied an FA charge of failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

“It related to an incident in the 48th minute of their game on 12 March 2016.

“Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing on 22 March 2016, the allegation was found proven and both clubs were also warned as to their future conduct.”
