Inter Milan forward Ishak Belfodil and West Ham's Modibo Maiga are priorities for QPR in this January's transfer window.
Harry Redknapp admitted enquiries have been ramped up for a player currently with Inter but part-owned by Parma and rated at £7million, who at 21 fits the bill of a younger squad craved for by the manager.
He added: "I'm sure the chairman is getting on with it along with Philip (Beard, chief executive). He's certainly a player we've looked at."
But although a loan move for Maiga has been mooted, the QPR manager was more cautious over the possibilities of capturing a second striker from one of his previous clubs.
Harry explained: "I've not spoken to Sam (Allardyce, West Ham manager) or anyone else, but yes, he's a good player as well."
One player who won't be allowed to leave and join Watford is Samba Diakite.
The midfielder suddenly comes back into the fold after a glut of QPR injuries in midfield, and has been added to the squad to face Huddersfield tomorrow (Saturday).
