Yun-Suk Young hasn't had too many chances to impress his QPR boss.

But Harry Redknapp singled out the South Korean international for his performances over the last two games.

Last time, it was a defeat to Liverpool, but Yun got his first taste of Premier League success in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa and only his ninth performance in a hooped shirt.

Judging by the manager's comments, Rs may have solved the tricky task of filling the left-back slot that's seen four different players take it on over the last two seasons.

After last week's post-match press conference where Redknapp lashed into Adel Taarabt and caused a massive stir, he was short and straight to the point after taking the points from Villa.

Don't worry, be happy: Harry Redknapp (L) and coach Kevin Bond

"It was a great result, but we play well here," the Rs boss said. "Yun's come in at left-back and he's been fantastic in the last couple of performances, and he could have pushed for man of the match.

"Richard Dunne and (Steven) Caulker were up against Christian Benteke, and he's a great striker, but they handled him.

"And it's the first time I got 90 minutes out of Sandro. He's a big player, and he made a difference."

However, the clearly irate manager could not resist a dig at a group of journalists in the front row of the media centre who apparently claimed Harry's Taarabt comments were an attempt to cover up defeat to Liverpool last week.

"I got no need to deflect away from the result, like I was supposed to have done last week, which was the biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard anyone say in my life - ever," he added as a parting shot.
