QPR boss Harry Redknapp insists form has nothing to do with success in the Championship play-offs.

His side go into tomorrow’s away leg at Wigan off the back of a 3-2 win at Barnsley on Saturday, but the manager only looks as far back as last season when Crystal Palace snuck up on the rail to triumph at Wembley.

He said: “Palace had a poor time leading up to the final - they were on the way down, but it made no difference on the day.

“It’s all about who performs in three separate games, and I wouldn’t rule out anyone from the four that are in the shake-up.

“It’s happened the least fancied has won in the past as well.”

Rangers travel to the DW Stadium knowing they have the lion’s share of the points against the Lactics this season.

They drew 0-0 away in October, and shaded a 1-0 win at Loftus Road in March, but it’s all square starting tomorrow, says Harry.

“It’s a clean slate and we have to be at the top of our game,” he added.
