QPR boss Neil Warnock is hoping Senegal's head coach uses his common sense and allows Armand Traore to skip the country’s two friendlies over the next week.

The QPR left-back got a slight tug of an abductor muscle in the 3-2 home defeat to Manchester City at the weekend, but has been called up for the games against Guinea on Friday, and Ivory Coast, Tuesday, by coach and namesake Amara Traore.

The European based Senegalese members of the squad are meeting in Paris later today, and Warnock is keeping his fingers crossed that his Traore is sent back on the next plane.

He said: “Armand picked up a bit of an injury, and as these games are only friendlies, I hope they’ll be sensible with him.”
