QPR manager Ian Holloway says that he stands by the changes he made following their 4-1 defeat against Brentford in the Carabao Cup.

Holloway made 10 changes for tonight's clash, and on reflection he says it didn't look like the team were ready for the challenge.

He said: "It was disappointing at the end, they turned us over.

"It felt like a fifth goal in the game was vital and it looked like we should get it to be honest. It’s fine margins at this level.

"I think we’ve had some really great chances and didn’t take them and they’ve punished us.

"I was quite pleased with the response, in the second half we pegged them back for long periods.

"But there’s a lot of positives for me, and i’d still make the same decision because the league campaign is absolutely vital for us."
