QPR manager Ian Holloway is looking to use Huddersfield Town's achievements as motivation for his side, but admits that they must do their talking on the pitch.

Speaking to the club's official website, Holloway was delighted with the work his team put in during a demanding trip to Portugal, but says it means nothing if they can't turn the hard work into results.

He said: "It's all about what you learn in pre-season. If you look at Huddersfield, the difference their manager made with just one pre-season was frightening. The signings he made after that, the together they got and it got them all the way there.

"It just shows. They finished 19th the year before and look what happened to them, so anything is possible.

"We're making great strides but it's all talk at the minute.

"It's about building a group that want to wear that badge with pride, and every QPR supporter, i wish you could have seen it all.

"Now it's about who else i can get, to integrate them into the group and see what we can do, because last year wasn't good enough, not by a million miles."
