QPR manager Ian Holloway came out of yesterday's Play-Off Final with egg on his face after a series of digs from Huddersfield Town at the R's boss.
Working as a Sky pundit earlier this season, Holloway tipped the Terriers to go down, something which the Huddersfield ranks were keen to remind him of.
Speaking before the start of the season, Holloway said: “I haven’t seen much progression from the club during the back end of last season.
“David Wagner is pretty inexperienced and if results turn, then they may struggle to turn things around.”
Following the Yorkshire sides 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over Reading, Huddersfield boss said: "By the way, Ian Holloway, all the best for next season. I know a lot of the pundits wrote us off at the start of the season."
This was followed by scenes in the Huddersfield dressing room with the players singing "There's only one Ian Holloway!"
Despite successfully forecasting that Newcastle and Brighton would be gain automatic promotion, Holloway may just choose to keep his predictions to himself next time round.
