QPR have been rumoured with making a bid for Barnsley full-back Andy Yiadom.
Despite having only played for one year at Oakwell, the potential move from the Loftus Road club is a sign of real ambition in the transfer window.
Alongside the Hoops, Premier League side Swansea City are also said to be interested in the versatile defender, who has made quite the impact at Championship level.
Yiadom's move to Oakwell came after a four-year stay with Barnet, where he made 181 appearances, with the defender widely praised for stepping up to the second-tier of English football seamlessly.
The Ghana international predominantly plays at right right, but can also play on the left, as well as in the role of winger, making him a potentially shrewd addition to Ian Holloway's side.
My understanding is that a deal remains some way off at this stage, however if QPR can convince the player to come to Loftus Road, it will be a huge coup as they look to beat off competition from the Premier League.
