Josh Bowler has been named in Ian Holloway’s squad for Queens Park Rangers’ pre-season training camp to Portugal.

The teenage midfielder is under contract with QPR until 2018 after signing a new deal in February.

But Bowler, 17, is understood to have rejected the offer of a new deal and has been the subject of two bids for his services from Everton.

Despite being targeted by the Premier League outfit though, Bowler will be heading off to Cascade Wellness & Lifestyle Resort in the Algarve later today.

There is also welcome news that Jordan Cousins will be in the travelling party for the week-long camp after he saw the second half of the season hindered by a thigh injury.

The squad includes goalkeepers Alex Smithies, Matt Ingram and Joe Lumley, defenders Bidwell, Darnell Furlong, Grant Hall, Niko Hamalainen, Osman Kakay, Joel Lynch, Nedum Onuoha, James Perch and Jack Robinson, midfielders Luke Freeman, Sean Goss, Ryan Manning and Yeni Ngbakoto, and strikers Ebere Eze, Reece Grego-Cox, Jamie Mackie, Matt Smith, Idrissa Sylla and Conor Washington.

Pawel Wszolek, Massimo Luongo and Michael Petrasso will not be involved due to international commitments.
