Neil Lennon has been charged by the FA for misconduct in relation to comments made to media following QPR’s 4-3 win over his Bolton side on Saturday - as predicted by GetWestLondon.

The Wanderers manager called referee Darren Drysdale an "absolute disgrace," adding: "I've never seen a more biased performance from a referee in a long time.

Men on the touchline: Chris Ramsey (L) and Bolton boss Neil Lennon

"He gave QPR everything he possibly could, I was so frustrated with that."

The FA allege Lennon's remarks "constitute improper conduct in that they allege and/or imply bias on the part of the match official, and/or bring the game into disrepute, in contravention of Rule E3(1)".

He has until 6pm on Thursday to respond.

Rangers eventually prevailed when Jay Emmanuel-Thomas scored the winner in the fourth minute of injury time, leaving Lennon's team 22nd in the Championship after 10 games.
