Ryan Sessegnon is set to sign a contract at Fulham on his 17th birthday, GetWestLondon understands.

The 16-year-old, who turns 17 in May, is understood to have agreed a pre-contract agreement with the Whites.

The young defender has enjoyed a breakout season at Craven Cottage making 26 appearances for the club already this campaign, making his debut at crisis club Leyton Orient in the EFL Cup in August.

He scored his first goal in the 2-2 draw with Cardiff and was one of the standout players in the Whites' 3-1 triumph at Newcastle.

Sessegnon's form has led him to earn many admirers with Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all reported to be courting his signature.

However, once Sessegnon signs a professional deal, his value will skyrocket and the Whites are expected to demand a hefty fee if their young starlet is to be taken off their hands.
