Cauley Woodrow revealed he has been practising scoring from 30-yards after his sensational goal for Fulham at Leyton Orient.

The young striker smashed the ball in from range after Scott Parker rolled the free kick to him.

He scored quickly after, making it 3-0 after Dennis Aderinan bagged the opener, before Fulham were made to sweat as Orient substitute Paul McCallum struck twice to set up a grandstand finish.

“I had one in training similar to that and I fancied it so I said to Scott to roll it and smash it in and thankfully it did.

“We were cruising at 3-0 and then they scored from a corner and a cross. It was sloppy from us. We've tried to stop that so it's disappointing but we dug in.

“It's really good for confidence and we're going into the next game with most of the lads having minutes as well. Everyone is feeling fit and ready.”
