Glenn Poole will hand the ball to Charlie MacDonald if Brentford win a penalty at Chester City tonight.
Poole revealed to the Chronicle that he has passed on the penalty-taking mantle to striker MacDonald following his miss against Morecambe last week.
It was only the second spot-kick Poole has missed for the club - ironically both against the same opposition.
But Poole said: "We agreed at the start of the season that if I miss one, he could take them.
"He's a goalscorer and is paid to score goals. But if he misses one then I will take them again.
"I don't care who takes them as long as the team wins."
The Bees could go joint-top in League Two with Wycombe Wanderers if they win at Chester.
