Manchester United edged out QPR at Loftus Road to pile the pressure on under-fire Hoops manager Harry Redknapp.

Reports emerged this week that Redknapp could be one loss away from the boot and if those prove accurate he may not be leading the R's into battle with Stoke at the end of the month.

Redknapp said after the United defeat: "I'm not worried at all. That's the owner's choice isn't it, if they want to make a change. I spoke to Tony Fernandes this week, five times, and he's never mentioned anything to me, he's just said, 'What a load of nonsense'.

“Listen, the players work hard for me every week at home. Our away form has been poor. We’re not a good counter-attacking team because we don’t have a lot of pace in the team. We don’t really have genuine pace in too many positions. We need to put our away form right.”

Meanwhile, United chief Louis Van Gaal has given the under-fire Hoops boss a piece of Premier League survival advice.
