QPR suffered a sixth successive defeat on the road in the Premier League as they went down 1-0 to Newcastle United on Saturday.

The Hoops were beaten at St James' Park by Moussa Sissoko's second half strike.

And the defeat coupled with Burnley's win at Stoke meant Harry Redknapp's side are bottom of the table.

QPR were without their Chilean World Cup stars Eduardo Vargas and Mauricio Isla and Redknapp says they missed both players.

He said: "When you go away from home you need a bit of pace on the break and we are not blessed with pace.

"That took a bit away from us because them two are quick-attacking players if you like and we missed them today."
