Didier Drogba could make his Chelsea Champions League comeback tomorrow night after coming through a training session at Cobham this morning.

The Blues striker has not kicked a ball for the club in Europe’s top club competition since netting a penalty to seal victory over Bayern Munich in the 2012 final.

Drogba missed Saturday’s 4-2 win over Swansea with an ankle injury and was expected to miss Wednesday’s opening group game with Schalke.

However, he took part in a session in front of the media in Surrey this morning and is pushing for a start at Stamford Bridge.
