Andre Schurrle smashed a second-half hat-trick as Chelsea cruised to victory in the west London derby at the weekend.

The German fired a quick-fire treble to put the Blues out of sight before John Heitinga scored a late consolation for the relegation-threatened Cottagers.

Jose Mourinho says he was so disappointed with Chelsea's first-half performance at Craven Cottage that he walked out of the dressing room without saying a word.

He said: “The first half was really bad for us. I don't know if they controlled us, of if we didn't start, but it was a really bad first half. I was really disappointed."

Meanwhile, Fulham manager Felix Magath rued an early injury to skipper Brede Hangeland as the Blues cut them apart far too easily after the break.

He admitted: "It was a big problem that captain Brede Hangeland was injured. I don't know what happened - the players forgot how to defend.
