Brentford's play-off hopes took a fresh blow as they were held to a 2-2 draw against Bolton.

Alex Pritchard gave the home side the lead before Adam Le Fondre levelled the scores soon after.

Jonathan Douglas restored the lead with a looping header just before half-time as the Bees exerted their dominance.

The Trotters came back into the game and equalised but James Tarkowski's error allowed Mark Davies to nick the ball off David Button to tap home.

Manager Mark Warburton was not going to point fingers though after the result.

The Bees boss said: “Very much so (frustrating to lose two points in that fashion), but I won't tell my players not to play. You can't ask young players to play every game of the season without making a mistake.

“We made an error and we got punished. We haven't got away with it, but you can't have the best of of both worlds. We have scored goals this season from the way we play, and we have kept them out too.
