AFC Wimbledon produced a thrilling fightback against York City to book a place in the FA Cup third round.

The Dons fell behind to an early Wes Fletcher volley but scored three times in a superb second-half turnaround at Kingsmeadow.

Jack Smith equalised 71 minutes into this exciting replay and Neal Ardley’s side went on to win it as Matt Tubbs rediscovered his golden touch with a late brace.

Boss Ardley said: “Matt Tubbs is devastating in training and his first was typical of him, his ability to peel of the centre-half is different class.

“I was disappointed with the first-half, I thought we lacked penetration and energy but the boys have had a tough schedule and should be proud of the way they kept going.”

Wimbledon will now travel to Wycombe Wanderers on December 7 in round three.
