England and France football fans meet at Bedfont & Feltham's The Orchard tonight for a football match that will pay respects to those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday.

At least 129 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack on the French capital with bars and restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de France where Les Bleus were facing Germany at the time.

The England and France game will go ahead at Wembley on Tuesday and the two sets of fans will meet to contest the Anglo-French Friendship Trophy as the two countries stand shoulder to shoulder in the face of terrorism.

England fans manager Garford Beck said: “All connected with EnglandFans FC were shocked and horrified by the events that unfolded in Paris, last night.

“Naturally, we send our love & condolences to our French friends, as well as a strong message of solidarity and support during this most difficult time for France.

“I have spoken to M. Thibaut Minguet, the Head Coach of France, and passed on our love and condolences.

“He has expressed his desire that Monday night's fans game goes ahead. We were agreed that we wanted to send a defiant message to would be perpetrators of such atrocities that we will not be cowed and fearful of such unspeakable actions.

“So, it is GAME ON and business as usual. The event will, naturally, be a bit sombre but will be used to remember those tragic souls who perished, last night, as well as a reminder of all that is good and unifying about our beautiful game.”

The game will kick off at 7.45pm, which is free to all spectators, with the teams coming out 15 minutes before for the national anthems and a minute's silence in honour of those who perished before the game.

Fans player Nicky Simmonds said: “At the end of the day, we'll play a game of football. Both teams will look to win but it shows whoever decided to do this on Friday night that they haven't won. They've not broken our spirit.”
