QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has been sent on a mission to his native Italy – find permanent clubs for Matteo Alberti and Alessandro Pellicori.

The pair are out of favour with Rangers, and former agent Paladini has been dispatched to do what he can for his countrymen, while at the same time saving Rangers money on contracts that don’t run out until summer 2012.

Winger Alberti signed a four-year deal when he joined Hoops from Chievo in 2008, but has started just six league games. Last season he was loaned out to AC Lumezzane in the third tier of Italian football.

Striker Pellicori scored just once in 10 games, although he got a three-year contract from Avellino in 2009, and was on loan at Torino in the last campaign.
