ROBERTO Di Matteo says Chelsea may now have to win all of their eight remaining Premier League games if they are to take the coveted fourth place.

The Blues endured a dour 0-0 draw with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge today, leaving the north London side five points ahead – and with the easier run-in.

“To make the gap up we will have to win all of them,” said Di Matteo (pictured) of their eight-game run-in.

“I'm not sure it'll be as easy as that, when you look at the scheduled fixture list. We just have to try and win the next one, then go for the next one.”

Di Matteo is under no doubt of the size of the task ahead. He said: “It is going to be difficult. But I think from the day that I was appointed I always knew that it was going to be a difficult task.

"But there are still eight games to play, and we will try to win as many as we can to try to gain fourth spot.”
