QPR face another difficult away test as they travel to take on Norwich City this evening (7.45pm).

It is the second away trip in four days as the Hoops take on the Canaries, who will be looking to get a positive result after a difficult start to their Championship campaign, picking up a point against Fulham and losing to Sunderland on Sunday.

The Hoops have made a positive start to their campaign, winning two and drawing one of their three fixtures so far, and they’ll be hoping the momentum of these results can carry into tonight’s game.

Hopefully his pace and direct play down the right can cause some issues for the Canaries.

Half-time

QPR find themselves level at the break with the score 0-0 at Carrow Road.

Norwich have certainly had the better of the play but a resolute defensive display is enough to keep the Hoops in the game.

Work-rate nearly pays off

Conor Washington’s sheer work rate nearly gains QPR an opening as he wins the ball in the corner, before his cross finds the head of Jamie Mackie who loops it onto the roof of the net.

Great play by the two front men.

Hoops looking to ease the pressure

QPR are looking to take the sting out of the game by retaining it further up the field.

They need this time to regroup after a spell where Norwich quite easily could have had a couple.

QPR holding on here

Norwich so close to taking the lead.

Off the line

Excellent play by Josh Murphy down the left as he flies past James Perch before crossing across the face of the QPR goal. Luckily Joel Lynch was on hand to clear to prevent it reaching Nelson Oliveira.

Nelson Oliveira

The Norwich number nine has been a real handful so far tonight. His pace and power has caused all kinds of issues for Nedum Onuoha and James Perch, has he holds up play and links up with Josh Murphy.

Norwich free kick

James Perch brings down Mario Vrancic near the corner flag.

James Maddison whips in the free kick towards Christoph Zimmermann, but a foul is given in QPR’s favour.

Norwich moving forward with real tenacity here.

Chance!

A scrappy opening

Neither side really taking control of the ball just yet, but QPR having the better of the play.

Some decent stuff being played leads to Jake Bidwell slicing a half volley high over the bar.
