Freddie Ladapo is the latest new face through the door at Hayes & Yeading United.

The former Colchester striker will go straight into the United squad for tonight’s home game with near neighbours Staines at Kingfield after joining on loan as boss Phil Babb attempts to end an awful run of eight successive league defeats.

The 21-year-old Romford-born front-man only joined Kidderminster in the January transfer window after leaving Layer Road featuring as a substitute in the FA Cup fourth round tie against Premier Division Sunderland the following day.

He joins Bournemouth loanee Brandon Goodship and the rest of the United strike-force in attempting to solve the goal drought at the heart of the recent alarming slump.

The game brings Babb face to face with Swans manager Marcus Gayle. The two crossed paths several times in the 90s during their playing days with Liverpool and Wimbledon respectively.

Swans have problems of their own having been publicly berated by Gayle for 30 minutes by the home dugout following a dismal 3-0 home defeat to FA Trophy finalists Gosport on Saturday.

The game kicks off at 7:45pm.
