Mark Warburton admits the future of Brentford's backroom staff is no closer to being resolved.

The 54-year-old was confirmed as Uwe Rosler's successor on Tuesday after the German left Griffin Park over the weekend to join Wigan Athletic.

Assistant manager Alan Kernaghan, first-team coach Peter Farrell and goalkeeping coach Simon Royce could follow to the DW Stadium.

However, with Wigan away in Slovenia for their Europa League clash with NK Maribor, it remains unclear if Rosler plans to raid his old employers.

“I chat to Uwe regularly. We’ll see what happens over the next few days," said Warburton.
