Jose Mourinho says he could see defeat coming at Stoke, because Chelsea failed to do enough to kill-off the game
The Blues' boss looked pained post-match, as he explained away the 3-2 last gasp defeat that the Braitannia Stadium.
"I could see that result after half an hour," said Mourinho."Because after half an hour, we should be winning. Three or four nil and we weren't.
“When you play so well, and it's so easy and you find space, and the three players behind the striker – (Juan) Mata, (Eden) Hazard and (Andre) Schurrle playing well - creating so much, you have to kill the game.
“Normally you kill the game, but we didn't.”
The Blues' boss went on to compare the match with other defeats Chelsea have suffered on the road this season.
“This first half was the same as at Everton and Newcastle, exactly the same,” he said.
“Chances, chances chances, and we don't score. We don't score one goal against Everton or Newcastle.
“We did against Stoke. We played amazingly well at the beginning of this game as we did at Sunderland.
“We don't score (many) here but made defensive mistakes.”
